Croatia adds 34.2 MW of wind capacity


Austrian based company RP Global announced the start of commercial operation for the 34.2 MW wind farm Rudine. The farm has 12 turbines of 2.85 MW each supplied by General Electric (GE 103 type). Each tower is 85 meter high with a rotor diameter of 103 meters. The project commenced in 2014. The investment is reported to amount to €53 million. This is RP Global’s second wind power plant investment in Croatia, after the 43.7 MW Danilo wind farm.
