Slovenia's hydro
Slovenia's plans include the construction of several hydro units, despite the fact hydropower projects have been facing heavy opposition from environmentalists during past years. This month was marked by the successful grid synchronisation of the three aggregates of the new 45 MW HPP Brežice. In addition, the Government announced plans to continue pursuing the €150 million HPP Mokrice project, where construction is planned to start by the end of the year. Construction of the 28 MW Mokrice unit is planned to be completed by 2020-2021.
