Kostolac B desuphurisation unit completed
China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) finished installing the flue gas desulphurisation (FGD) unit at the Kostolac B power plant in a project worth over €113 million. TPP Kostolac B has two units of 320 MW net output each and is owned and operated bt Serbian utility Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS). The installment process began in May 2014 and is part of a project to modernise EPS's coal fleet.
