HEP in an effort to extend coal fired Plomin 1 lifetime
In an effort to comply with the Industrial Emissions Directive (IED), Croatian utility HEP issued a request for amendments to the Decree on Integrated Environmental Protection Requirements for the Plomin 1 power plant to the Croatian Ministry of Environmental Protection and Energy. Plomin 1 is a coal fired power plant built in 1969 with a nameplate capacity 115 MW.
