Vestas to deliver 20 wind turbines in Serbia

Danish based Vestas will deliver 20 wind turbines, each of 3.45 MW, to Fintel Energija (a subsidiary of Italian based Fintel Energia Group SpA) for the wind farm of Košava 1. Construction of the farm, estimated to cost €117 million, is already in progress. Fintel announced plans to raise capital for the second phase of the project by offering 20-40% of shares of Fintel Energija through an Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the Belgrade stock exchange. Košava phase 2 is envisioned to have 79.8 MW of installed capacity. Fintel Energija already operates two wind farms in Serbia: Kula (9.9 MW) and La Piccolina (6.6 MW).
