60 MW wind power plant planned in Bitovnja

Bosnian based utility Elektroprivreda BiH and German Development Bank KfW have signed a €1.1 million grant regarding the project of a wind power plant in Bitovnja. Funds will be used in order to provide for detailed wind measurements and geological exploration. During the second phase, environmental impact assessment, feasibility study and grid connection will be drafted. The potential unit is to have a power output of 60 MW with an estimated annual production of 110 GWh..
