HEP in an effort to buy RES projects

Croatian state-owned utility HEP announced a public call for expression of interest and the sale of projects of renewable energy sources. HEP will target solar, hydro and wind projects larger than 1 MW. The call is mostly aimed at local authorities that are willing to develop project in collaboration with HEP and entrepreneurs that are willing to sell existing projects.Based on the interest expressed so far, HEP commenced work on developing 120 MW of solar units with local authorities. By 2023, HEP aims to invest €100 million in solar power as a continuation of efforts towards reaching a sustainable generation mix.
