Albania electricity production records a 40% drop

Albanian electricity sector recorded a drop in production of almost 40% in 2019 when compared to the previous year. The sharp decline of production was caused by less favourable hydrological conditions. As Albania doesn’t have a diversified portfolio and almost solemnly relies on its hydro power plants, it is heavily reliant on hydrology for producing electricity.
