Smart meter market to grow considerably
As reported by Metering & Smart Energy International, U.S.-based analyst firm Frost and Sullivan forecasts global smart meter installation rate should reach 85 million units on an annual basis by 2025. Regulatory framework improvements, the desire for higher efficiency, lower costs and expanding renewable energy portfolios will be the main drivers of growth.
