B&H to get a power exchange
Croatia power exchange (CROPEX), Bosnian utility Elektroprivreda HZHB Mostar (EPHZHB) and transmission system operator Nezavisni operator sistema (NOS) joined forces and defined guidelines for activities that would enable the formation of the Bosnian power exchange. When operational, the power exchange should further improve cross-border cooperation and facilitate the creation of the regional electricity market (REM) of South East Europe. The project is in line with EU's strategic goal of creating a common energy market.
