EPS still without competition in Serbia
Despite the market for electricity in Serbia being completely liberalised for more than three years, Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) maintains the monopoly in selling electricity household buyers. Serbian Government continues its social policy over current electricity prices to help ease the difficult economic situation in the country. This is why electricity prices in Serbia are considerably lower when compared to other countries of the region and Europe.
