Construction begins on 36 MW wind farm in BiH
Construction started at the wind power plant Jelovača site in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH) The unit is to have 18 turbines with an overall electrical output of 36 MW. It is located in the municipality of Tomislavgrad near the country’s first wind farm, 52 MW Mesihovina, which started operation just a few months ago. Siemens Gamesa is the EPC contractor and has agreed to operate and maintain the future unit during the first five years of operation. BiH has a number of other wind power project planned such as the 48 MW Podveležje (€83 million), 48 MW Hrgud (€65 million).
