KESH in plans to construct 12.9 MW floating solar power plant


Albanian state-owned utility Korporata Elektroenergjitike Shqiptare (KESH) is in the process of acquiring permits for the construction of a 12.9 MW floating solar power plant to be installed on the water surface of the Vau-Dejës reservoir.

All electricity produced is to be sold on the electricity market. Albanian transmission system operator OST already agreed to enable connection to the grid for the unit. The unit is foreseen to cover an area of 118 000 square meters when completed.
