HEP to build a solar park near Plomin

Croatian state-owned utility HEP plans to construct a 25 MW solar park near its coal-fired power plant of Plomin. Local municipality is to provide 50 hectares of land for the unit of an estimated annual production of 30 GWh. The unit is part of the HEP development strategy focused towards expanding its renewable energy generation portfolio. Within this strategy HEP intends to invest over €100 million in solar power plants by the end of year 2023.
