

60 MW wind power plant planned in Bitovnja
Bosnian based utility Elektroprivreda BiH and German Development Bank KfW have signed a €1.1 million grant regarding the project of a wind power plant in Bitovnja. Funds will be used in order to provide for detailed wind measurements and geological exploration. During the second phase, environmental impact assessment, feasibility study and grid connection will be drafted. The potential unit is to have a power output of 60 MW with an estimated annual production of 110 GWh.. So


48 MW wind farm to be built in BiH
Bosnian utility company Elektroprivreda BiH presented the Podveležje 48 MW wind farm project. Project's investmetn cost is estimated at 81 million with 65 million being provided by German KfW bank. The construction and reconstruction of local roads for the needs of the wind farm will be carried out by the consortium HP Investing Mostar, Amitea Mostar and Construction of Tojaga Mostar. ABB Zagreb will install 30 substations of 110 kV and install the high-voltage cable system,


Tuzla 7 getting closer
Bajazit Jašarević, executive director of Bosnian utility Elektroprivrede Bosne i Hercegovine (EPBiH), announced that negotiations between EPBiH and the Export-Import Bank of China (Exim) are approaching its final phase, hoping to mark the beginning of construction in months time. The construction of the 450 MW Tuzla 7 unit should cost €722 million, 85% of which is debt, while the remaining 15% wll be equity provided by EPBiH. Debt repayment term is set at 20 years with a 5 ye
