

North Macedonia reveals ambitious energy development plans

Tender launched for 100 MW solar project in North Macedonia
Macedonian state-owned Elektrani na Severna Makedonija (ESM) launched a tender in an effort to find a strategic partner for the public-private partnership project of designing, building and operating a 100 MW photovoltaic power plant in Oslomej. Contract is to last for a period of 35 years after which the unit’s ownership will be transferred to the public partner. GEEN continues investments in biomass units in Croatia
Czech based GEEN Holdings announced plans to start construction of its third biomass-fired combined heat and power unit in Gospić, Croatia. The unit possesses a power purchase agreement (PPA) with HROTE. It’s planned capacity is 4.96 MW.
