

EPCG in plans to reconstruct TPP Pljevlja
Montenegrin based Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) announced plans to modernize its 210 MW thermal power plant Pljevlja. The investment is estimated at €45 million. It envisions the reconstruction of the Maljevac landfill (€20 million) and the instalment of the desulphurization unit. Kosovo’s first wind farm gets financing
Kitka wind farm, Kosovo’s first wind project, acquired €18 million financing from EBRD. The 32.4 MW unit will be the first step towards the decarbonisation of Kosovo’s energy sector, currently dominated by fossil based generation. The project was developed by Turkish based Guris and is part of an ambitious energy development strategy that plans to achieve 400 MW of renewable energy sources by 2026. At present, Kosovo has 70 MW of renewables, the majority of which comes from s
