Romania edges closer to a nuclear power plant
Romanian based Nuclearelectrica is in intense discussions with China Nuclear Power Corporation in the hope to complete negotiations by the end of 2018 and set up a joint venture for the construction of two nuclear reactors in Cernavodă. Iernut TPP construction intensifies

EU’s Cooperation and Verification Mechanism (CVM) published progress reports aimed to help "address shortcomings in judicial reform and the fight against corruption and organised crime".
