Croatia and Romania exploring IPO options of power utilities
Croatian and Romanian governments announced intentions to for initial public offerings (IPOs) of state-owned utilities HEP (Croatia) and Hidroelectrica (Romania). Croatian government plans to offer a 25% share of HEP after the ownership issues over the hydroelectric generation portfolio are resolved. Romanian government plans to offer a 15% share in two phases: 10% in the first and 5% in the second phase.
